THE 38^th SWS ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The 38^th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Singapore Welding Society (SWS) will be held on Friday, 27 May 2016 at 1800 hours at the Civil Service Club, Level 2, Hilltop Garden Restaurant, 91 Bukit Batok West Ave 2, Singapore 659206.

Reception with finger food and coffee/tea will be served from 1700 to 1800 hours and dinner will follow after the AGM. Special table shall be arranged for Muslim members.

Twelve members of the Council will be stepping down after completion of their term and eleven of them have indicated interest to seek re-election.

Enclosed is the Nomination Form for Council member, which shall be submitted to ‘The Honorary Secretary’ not later than 29 April 2016, 15:00 hrs. (Any two of the Fellows, Full Members, Corporate Members, Associate Members and Student Members may nominate any other Fellows, Full Members or nominees of the Corporate Members to be Council Members provided that every nomination must be made by at least one Fellow, Full Member or one Corporate Member.)

AGENDA

•  To confirm the minutes of the 37^th Annual General Meeting held on 29^th May 2015.
     

•  To consider, approve, and adopt the Annual/President’s Report of the Council (copies will be made available at the AGM).

     

•  To consider, approve, and adopt the Statement of Accounts and Balance Sheet for 2015/2016 (copies will be made available at the AGM). 

     
• To elect Council members for 2016/2018.
     
• Any other business
